We'd like to extend a BIG thank-you to Mestre Marcus Soares for visiting his
Ontario representatives from December 15th-17th, 2007.  Mestre Soares
conducted two great seminars at TEAM ASCENSION headquarters, along with some
key promotions for some of his well-deserving representatives.  Some of
Marcus' noteworthy promotions included:

Mark Stables (White Tiger BJJ): Brown Belt, 2 stripes
Dave King (White Tiger BJJ): Purple Belt, 2 stripes
Clint Allert (BAMA Hurricane Jiu-Jitsu): Purple Belt, 1 stripe
Chris Boreland (Borelands MMA): Purple Belt, 1 stripe
Peter Zeras (Salvosa BJJ Ascension): Purple Belt, 1 stripe
Mike Hong (BAMA Hurricane Jiu-Jitsu): Purple Belt
Shaun Krysa (Borelands): Purple Belt
Tim Dixon (Borelands): Purple Belt

Team Soares Ontario is getting much deeper and continues to reflect the
quality and high standard of Mestre Soares' work.  Congratulations and
thank-you to all students that came out to support the weekend's events!
